Automatic - Signal (Exclusive Red Vinyl)

Signal is the dark and upbeat debut album from LA post-punk trio Automatic. Though most of the production is sparse and controlled, Signal is rich with late-’70s genre influence: the psychedelic goth-rock of Bauhaus or Suicide and the eerie vocals and icy morbidity of Joy Division.

This all-female trio’s debut is an exercise in post-punk and no-wave galvanism crafted from throbbing bass, tight-zipped drumbeats, and buzzing synths - and they're named after a Go Go's song!
