Cannonball Adderley & Milt Jackson - Things Are Getting Better

Lee Morgan once again became part of the Jazz Messengers after replacing Freddie Hubbard. The band is rounded out by pianist Cedar Walton, a steaming Wayne Shorter on tenor, Curtis Fuller on trombone and bassist Reggie Workman with Art Blakey on the skins

The landmark album ‘Somethin’ Else’ by Cannonball Adderley features trumpeter Miles Davis, pianist Hank Jones, bassist Sam Jones, and drummer Art Blakey. Highlights include “Autumn Leaves” and “One For Daddy-O”.

One of the great Jazz Messengers recordings, Blakey's 1962 debut for Riverside featured Wayne Shorter, Curtis Fuller, Reggie Workman, Freddie Hubbard and Cedar Walton.
