Cliff Martinez - The Neon Demon (Music From The Film) [Splatter Vinyl]

Forget about seeing—any film with a Cliff Martinez soundtrack is a film worth HEARING! The ex-Red Hot Chili Pepper excels in creating sparse, unsettling scores…that’s why he is the go-to for directors like Steven Soderbergh and, of course, Nicolas Winding Refn, for whom Martinez scored Drive, Only God Forgives, and this film, 2016’s The Neon Demon.

Martinez himself described the first half of this fashion model freakfest of a film as "a melodrama like Valley of the Dolls, and the second half is like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," and for that mindbending blend he composed a hypnotic, electronic masterpiece in the grand tradition of such European masters as Goblin, Vangelis, and Tangerine Dream. Here, for the first time on vinyl, is the LONG version of Julian Winding’s “Demon Dance,” along with tracks by Sweet Tempest and Sia.
