Action Adventure is the upcoming 7th album from DJ Shadow. In this new release, he challenged himself to make music "that flexed different energies". In preparation for the production, he purchased 200 tapes recorded from an 80s radio mix on eBay, and listened to previously unheard records off his massive record collection. The lead single, "Ozone Scraper" was released in the summer of 2023.
