This milestone RSD release marks Colemine Records 100th 45 (7") release. This mix of "Power To The People" was the first new recording by Durand Jones & The Indications after their self-titled album had been released. Fans will get to hear the original demo mix of the song, with little to no reverb on Durand's vocals with a marching band kick drum in the mix, and no synths. There's something about the dry falsetto vocal of Durand's voice that comes across so authentically on this recording.
