In 2000, SUM 41 released their debut EP Half Hour Of Power, widely considered by fans as their first studio album because of its length. It was produced by lead singer and frontman Deryck Whibley (also known as Bizzy D) in collaboration with Greig Nori. The album is described is a fusion of punk, heavy metal, ska, and hip-hop, channeling artists such as Iron Maiden, Blink-182, Green Day, and NOFX. Highlights include hits like "Makes No Difference","Grab The Devil By His Horns...", "Summer" and "What I Believe".
