Whitney's 2016 debut Light Upon The Lake was an indie rock triumph, showcasing Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek's knack for writing those insta-catchy song hooks you fell for in their previous group Smith Westerns. After 3 years, the group released their sophomore follow-up titled Forever Turned Around in August 2019.
