Laura Marling's special two-night-only performances at the Albert Hall in Manchester are now getting a release on vinyl for Record Store Day 2026. The shows were uniquely structured, with the first half featuring Laura performing solo with just her acoustic guitar, delivering intimate renditions of some of her classic songs. The second half showcased a more expansive sound, as she was joined by a four-piece string quartet and a choir to perform her latest album, Patterns In Repeat, in its entirety.
This album is a 2LP, marking the first time these live recordings have ever been made available on a physical format. This release is particularly significant as it not only includes beloved tracks from Marling's earlier catalogue like "Goodbye England (Covered In Snow)," and "Tap at My Window" but also offers a powerful, live reinterpretation of her newest work—an album deeply personal and centred around her experience of motherhood.
