Following on from Valve Bone Woe, Chrissie Hynde's last non-Pretenders project, which paired her distinctive, unmistakeable voice and phrasing to electronic-inflected jazz covers of standards, the never-predictable Hynde presents her first album of vocal collaborations with Duets Special.

Like Valve, the tracks on Duets are impeccably curated, showcasing Hynde's always-genre-defiant taste, and features and incredible line-up of vocalists, including Garbage's Shirley Manson, The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, The Killers' Brandon Flowers, the inimitable k.d. lang, and fellow punk-pop legend Debbie Harry on stripped down, intimate arrangements with minimal, refined instrumentation.

Features the lead single "Always On My Mind" with Rufus Wainwright.
