'Friday Forever' is the follow up to Richard Russell's eponymous 2018 debut album, which went on to be nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and hailed by Q Magazine as a "masterclass in the art of collaboration".
This new album features an instinctively curated set of collaborators including the Manchester rapper Aitch, South London's FLOHIO and James Massiah, Trinidad born Berwyn, Ireland's Maria Somerville and Kean Kavanagh, Staten Island rap god Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan, longterm EIR collaborator Infinite Coles, West London's A.K. Paul and a rare contribution from the anarchy punk legend Penny Rimbaud of Crass.
