Acclaimed producer Tom Holkenborg adopted his Junkie XL persona in 1997, and embarked on a journey that was to wind up with his composing wildly acclaimed film scores for films like Mad Max: Fury Road, 300: Rise of an Empire, Divergent, and Deadpool.

But it all got started with this album, Saturday Teenage Kick, the first project released under the Junkie XL moniker and to this day a groundbreaking blend of rock and electronica. Never before released on vinyl outside of his native Netherlands and featuring the album-closing track “Future in Computer Hell/Mulu” that has never appeared on vinyl.
