The 'world's first bespoke album', The Future Is Medieval appeared on Kaiser Chiefs' website with no warning on 3rd June 2011. The album took the form of 20 digital files, 10 of which could be handpicked by the user along with customizable artwork, to create their own unique version of the album.

Highlights include "Little Shocks", "Man On Mars", and "Kinda Girl You Are".

Only previously released on vinyl as a 500-only pressing sold on tour and subsequently as 4 x 10"s under the title Start The Revolution Without Me in North America, this Record Store Day sees all tracks reissued on vinyl for the first time.

Exclusive BLACK AND WHITE 2LP vinyl produced by Polydor Records in celebration of Record Store Day 2026.
