On December 13, 1974, in the vast, frozen nave of Reims Cathedral, Nico opened the night ahead of Tangerine Dream. Before 6,000 stunned spectators, she sat motionless behind her harmonium, like a gothic statue, delivering a funeral-like, hypnotic performance.

It was the very first time a Catholic Church in Europe was to host a rock concert. It was so controversial at the time, that after the concert the Vatican forbade all rock shows in Europe. Somewhere between the sacred and the void, this concert left a deep mark on all who witnessed it. Now, the sound has been fully remastered using artificial intelligence. A dark, suspended moment—finally restored in all its haunting beauty.

This RSD Black Friday edition includes deluxe packaging includes an OBI side spine and printed innersleeve with all new album artwork from the 1974 era.
