Celebrate the 15th anniversary of this unique collaboration between The Orb and David Gilmour! Once again available, on a pearlescent metallic sunrise colour vinyl for RSD Black Friday!

Metallic Spheres came about after a remix project by The Orb, Youth, and David Gilmour expanded into an album-length entity. The trio worked up a sonic mixture in a range of styles. Designed to be heard in two parts - "Metallic Side", and "Spheres Side", the album utilizes David Gilmour's discernable electric and lap steel guitar, Alex Paterson's sound manipulation, keyboards and turntables, and Youth's bass guitar and keyboards.
