Calvin Harris released his debut album, I Created Disco in 2007. The album was recorded and released during a period in which dance music was considered to be in decline, and this is said to have inspired the album's title. This album was released around the same time as the beginning of his collaborative relationship with Kylie Minogue, contributing to his meteoric rise as a record producer.

Highlights include "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls".

This 2LP vinyl edition produced by Legacy Recordings in 2026.
