Divine Comedy - Rainy Sunday Afternoon (Dark Green Bio Vinyl)

The Divine Comedy return in 2025 with Rainy Sunday Afternoon, their first album of new material in six years. Recorded at Abbey Road in autumn of 2024, the band's thirteenth long-player is described by member and songwriter Neil Hannon as an orchestral pop album. Says Hannon: "Like everyone, [I have] a darker, more melancholy side... I needed to use this album as an outlet for those feelings. To work through some stuff. Mortality; memories; relationships; political and social upheaval." One listen to Rainy Sunday Afternoon will certainly provide a tonic for these turbulent times.
