Interpol returns in 2026 with their first new album in four years, This Mirror Weighs A Ton. The album finds the band turning inward while continuing to move forward. Across the record, reflection, distortion, and perception become a lens through which familiar shapes are refracted into something slightly alien, as if seen through a different kind of light.

Synthesizers, strings, acoustic guitars and percussion are integrated into the fabric of the songs, expanding the palette while revealing colors already latent within it. Nothing feels imposed.
