Elegant Slumming is the 1993 sophomore album from British dance-pop group M People. Formed in 1990 by Hacienda DJ Mike Pickering, and featuring the distinctive powerhouse vocals of Heather Small, the group's blend of soul, house, and pop hooks took the band into the charts and bodies on to the dance floor.

A global breakthrough for the group, Elegant Slumming features the singles "Renaissance", "One Night In Heaven", and the anthemic "Moving On Up".
