Nightmares On Wax - Carboot Soul (2014 Remaster)

Nightmares On Wax released their third record Carboot Soul in 1999, four years after their sophomore album Smoker's Delight. Carboot Soul expands upon summery sounds of the previous album but is a bit leaner than Smoker's Delight. It has a stronger funk and soul feel and is somewhat less trippy and more lazy in feel. Carboot Soul is a masterpiece of downtempo instrumental hip-hop/trip hop.
