Thrash metal legends, Overkill, released their fourth album in 1989. Years Of Decay features the band's most progressive work up to that point, and the band has cited Black Sabbath as a direct influence. Notably, Pantera hired producer Terry Date to work on Cowboys From Hell based on his work on Years of Decay and its follow-up, 1991's Horroscope. Years Of Decay is also the last Overkill record to feature founding member Bobby Gustafson. This half-speed master features the single "Elimination".
