Acclaimed Portuguese artist Salvador Sobral presents his first album featuring exclusively Brazilian compositions, titled A Flor do Recomeço (The Flower of a New Beginning). Recorded in São Paulo—with musical production by Tó Brandileone and artistic direction by Marcus Preto—the album serves as a statement of intent: a return to his roots in order to keep moving forward.

The record features a stellar selection of previously unreleased songs penned by renowned artists such as Adriana Calcanhotto, Arnaldo Antunes, Chico César, Céu, Marcelo Camelo, Mallu Magalhães, Marcos Valle, and Tim Bernardes.

Widely regarded as one of the most respected figures in contemporary European music, Sobral turns his gaze toward one of the essential sources of his emotional and musical upbringing. Here, Brazil appears not merely as a fleeting influence or a stylistic device, but as an emotional landscape—a soundscape that has accompanied the singer since childhood.

This vinyl edition produced by WEA International in 2026.
