Stereolab - Margerine Eclipse

Margerine Eclipse is the eighth album from Sterolab originally released in 2004. The album is in large part a eulogy to former band member Mary Hansen, who died in 2002. Grief for their bandmate and the dissolution of romance between members Tim Gane and Lætitia Sadier inspired the album.

This 2025 Stereolab reissue series utilises the same remasters as the 2019 expanded album editions, cut from the original 1/2" tapes by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering and overseen by Tim Gane.

This 2LP vinyl edition was produced by Duophonic Records in 2025.
