In November 2022, The 1975 embarked on a tour in support of the band’s latest album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language.

But the At Their Very Best run was something entirely unexpected. Rather than a standard live concert in which Matty Healy and his colleagues played new songs, it was an immersive themed spectacle, split into acts and taking place in a cross section of a house.

A risky, ballsy production that inevitably drew inspiration from legendary acts like David Byrne and the Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel (acts whose influence shows throughout The 1975’s catalog), it was a thoroughly impressive spectacle from start to finish, surely something nobody at one of the shows will ever forget.
