Metalcore pioneers Underoath have been reinventing the balance between chaos and harmony with each successive release for the better part of three decades and 2004's They're Only Chasing Safety is no exception. Their compositions, conjured from creative tension, have become iconoclastic anthems for an entire generation of punk fans.

They're Only Chasing Safety is the fourth studio album by Floridian quintet and immediately became a watershed moment in the punk music scene; the blend of heavy metal and hardcore influences with a strong pop-punk sensibility spawned a new branch of heavy music that became synonymous with the screamo scene of the mid-2000s.

Includes the fan favourites "Down, Set, Go", "A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White", and "Reinventing Your Exit".

Exclusive CLEAR vinyl produced by Many Hats Distro in 2026.
