Beyoncé returned in 2016 with her brilliantly-executed concept album Lemonade. Upon its release, she also dropped a 65 minute film, which aired on on HBO, which gave fans a unique visual presentation of the record. Highlights include the singles "Formation", "Sorry", "Hold Up", "Freedom" and "All Night".

Lemonade was ranked as the best album of 2016 by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, The Associated Press, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Stereogum, Consequence of Sound, Wired, Paste, USA Today, and NPR, just to name a few.
