Cost of Living Adjustment is the sort-of self-titled album from Montreal trio Cola. The acronymic title C.O.L.A. is a fitting conceptual framework for a record that considers, among other things, socialism vs. hell, rolling the dice of life, and the eerie and sweet pangs that nostalgia can provoke. Abstract, oblique, and sometimes strange, it's also beautiful, in the classic sense, and represent the band at their very best.
