Gordon Lightfoot - Sit Down Young Stranger (2013 Remaster)

Sit Down Young Stranger is the 1970 album by iconic Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot and was his first release for the Reprise label. Powered in part by the often-covered hit single "If You Could Read My Mind", it became the best selling album of Lightfoot's storied career.

Lightfoot's first release to feature his long-time electric bass guitarist Rick Haynes, the album also introduced more complex orchestrations than his earlier work for United Artists and features arrangements by Randy Newman on album opener "Minstrel of the Dawn" and "Approaching Lavender".
