Hayley Williams - Flowers For Vases / Descansos (Exclusive Clear Vinyl)

Paramore leader Hayley Williams returns with her sophomore solo album Flowers for Vases / Descansos, an intimate folk album with sparse guitars, piano chords and spare drums. The record features the singles "My Limb" and "Over Those Hills".

Working in isolation, Williams extends the healing narrative of her debut album Petals for Armor with a sparse, unadorned album that casts a mournful glance to the past. Flowers for Vases feels more like her first true solo adventure, whereas her her debut felt like an extension of Paramore. On this album, Williams' choices here reveal a songwriter more indebted to the arpeggiated guitar of a ’70s folk singer than the power chords of mall punk.

"This isn't really a follow-up to Petals for Armor. If anything, it's a prequel, or some sort of detour between parts 1 and 2 of Petals", Williams said to her fans on Instagram.
