Hot Chip - A Long Way From Kansas (Vinyl)

Hot Chip’s 2027 album A Long Way From Kansas finds them at their most primal. The title's nod to The Wizard of Oz alludes to the distance needed to travel to get back home and find some sense of normality. Reactive to much of the bleakness of the 2020s, and echoing it with distortion and decay, the band’s ninth album finds its own way to celebrate life even as the edges around it burn, a beaming signal arriving just in time to remind the listener that no matter how bad the outside world is, there’s no place like home.

Highlights include the first single "Random Violence".

This 2LP vinyl edition produced by Domino Records in 2027.
