Jeff Wayne - Musical Version Of War Of The Worlds

Jeff Wayne's prog-rock interpretation of HG Well's 'War Of The Worlds' was released in 1978. The two-LP radio play is narrated by Richard Burton and is one of the earliest records to be done over 48 tracks. The record notably spent 290 weeks on the UK charts. Features the single "Forever Autumn," and appearances from Moody Blues' Justin Hayward.
