Justice -† (Cross)

† (Cross) is the debut album from French duo Justice (brothers Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay). Their intent was to make a disco-opera album and used an upwards of 400 samples to put this electronic masterpiece together. It features the singles "Waters of Nazareth", "D.A.N.C.E.", "DVNO" and "Phantom Pt. II". For their debut album they decided they needed to escape Xavier's bedroom, so they rented a cheap basement in the center of Paris and fixed it up a little. The rest is history, and Lord, what excitement Justice serves up on this album.
