Leif Vollebekk - New Ways

Leif Vollebekk's 2019 album "New Ways", was conceived as a companion piece to 2017’s "Twin Solitude". The Canadian folkster's fourth album is a dialogue with his past self, and laces his capacious, meandering music with a ’60s folk-jazz sensibility. Whereas "Twin Solitude" was about self-reflection, "New Ways" is about engaging and changing, touching and being touched. Its a physical record, with louder and tighter grooves, and the rawest lyrics the musician has ever recorded.
