The Best of Miles Davis is a new compilation released to celebrate the legendary jazz trumpeter's centennial in 2026. Intended as an introduction to this influential artist, it covers the years between 1956 and 1961 when he recorded legendary albums for the Prestige label including Workin',  Cookin',  Steamin'  and Relaxin'. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder at his New Jersey studio, accompaniment is provided by players including Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and John Coltrane.

Highlights include "'Round Midnight," "My Funny Valentine," "Just Squeeze Me (But Don't Tease Me)" and more.

This vinyl edition produced by Craft Recordings in 2026.
