The Best Of New Order, originally released in 1994, collects key singles from the band’s run from 1985 onwards, bringing together 7" mixes of some of their best-known tracks alongside four exclusive 1994 remixes.

Released a year later, companion album The Rest Of New Order expanded the picture with a set of remixes led by Hardfloor’s rework of "Blue Monday-95". Between them, the two albums captured a remarkable run of songs including "True Faith", "Bizarre Love Triangle", "Blue Monday 88", "Regret" and "World in Motion" — a concise reminder of the group’s lasting impact on electronic and alternative music.
