Sia - Colour The Small One

Colour the Small One is likely to appeal to fans of Sia's work with UK purveyors of downtempo, Zero 7. Compared with her current pop style, Colour The Small One is an incredibly "internal" album, one where we feel as though we're hearing the stream of Sia's consciousness. Gentle without being the least bit boring, and uplifting to the point of tears (see Breathe Me, the breakthrough moment in the finale of HBO's Six Feet Under), Colour The Small One is an absolute stand-out from beginning to end.
