In 2002, the Verve label had a brilliant idea that still has an impact today: For the first installment of the Verve Remixed series, they invited top DJs and producers to turn some of the most exciting originals by the label's famous jazz artists into danceable and chill remixes. The series became a huge success, bringing classic jazz recordings to a new generation of listeners. The episodes of the series remain extremely popular on digital platforms.
