Train On The Island marks the New Zealand artist’s fifth studio LP, following 2022’s Warm Chris. The new album sees her reunite with producer John Parish and features contributions from pedal steel player Joe Harvey-Whyte, harpist Mali Llewelyn, synth player Thomas Poli, Polar Bear drummer Sebastian Rochford, and Huw Evans, who provides bass, guitar, organ and vocals.
Harding is known for her gothic folk sound and abstract songwriting style showcased on the album's first single and highlight "One Stop".
