The deluxe edition marks the one year anniversary since Black Pumas self-titled debut album took the world by storm. This 1st Anniversary Edition features the original album, plus 11 additional songs including covers of The Beatles, Tracy Chapman and more.

The Texas duo, the Black Pumas (Adrian Quesada and Eric Burton) connected via friends in the Austin music scene, soon they began to collaborate on a new sound that transmutes soul into something idiosyncratically modern.

Fans get three new brand new unreleased originals (“I’m Ready,” “Red Rover,” “Black Cat,”; three live in-studio versions(“Colors,” “Oct 33,” “Confines”); a live version of “Know You Better” recorded at C-Boys Heart & Soul - the Austin club where the band first made a name for itself. Fans will also be thrilled to finally have these popular covers finally in their collection: Death’s “Politicians in My Eyes,” and Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”
