Originally released January 1976, Station To Station was David Bowie’s tenth studio album and a musical bridge between the 'plastic soul’ of 1975’s Young Americans and the experimental beginning of Bowie’s Berlin era that was 1977’s Low.

Commonly regarded as one of his most significant works, Station to Station was the vehicle for his performance persona, the Thin White Duke. It features such classics as "Golden Years", "Station to Station" and "Stay".

For the first time ever, a David Bowie album was a bigger commercial success in the United States than it was in the UK. Considered a classic among fans and critics alike, the record was unusual for a Bowie album in that it contained just six tracks, even though it still clocked in at a little over thirty-eight minutes.

50th Anniversary audiophile vinyl edition produced by Parlophone Records in 2026. Recut on a customized late-model Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics, sourced from 192kHz restored masters of the original Record Plant master tapes. No additional processing was applied, delivering the closest possible representation of the album’s original sound.

Marking 50 years of David Bowie’s groundbreaking tenth studio album, the limited-edition picture disc LP is pressed from the same master and includes an exact reproduction of the original promotional poster used at release.

For this anniversary edition, the Half Speed Master album has been recut on a customised late-model Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics, sourced from 192kHz restored masters of the original Record Plant master tapes. No additional processing was applied, delivering the closest possible representation of the album’s original sound.
