Celebrate the 30th anniversary of De La Soul's Stakes Is High with this deluxe 4LP box set! The set includes the 41 tracks encompassing the original album, plus bonus material and instrumentals on black & white spoked vinyl housed in a book box with a 12 page lyric booklet. One of the LPs has a UV print of Dave.

The album catches the group at a real turning point: older, sharper, and fully dialled in. Released in 1996, it was their fourth album and the first without Prince Paul, making space for a tougher, more stripped-back sound. J Dilla helped shape the title track, and that lead single went on to become one of De La Soul's defining statements.  What still makes Stakes Is High hit is the balance of soulful production, wit, frustration, and clear-eyed commentary. From "The Bizness" to "Itzsoweezee (HOT)", it feels focused and confident. Its one of those records that may not have shouted the loudest on arrival, but its influence and reputation have only grown with time.
