Europe - The Final Countdown (Light Purple Vinyl)

Big Hair! Big Hits! Europe spawned perhaps one of the greatest hair band moments of the 80's with their global smash single "The Final Countdown". Released in 1986, the album The Final Countdown was a huge commercial success selling over 15 million copies worldwide.

Recorded at Powerplay Studios in Zürich, Switzerland, the band worked with American producer Kevin Elson, who had worked with bands like Journey and Lynyrd Skynyrd. 

The album features five hit singles: "The Final Countdown", "Love Chaser", "Rock the Night", "Carrie" and "Cherokee".
