Kehlani - Sweet Sexy Savage (Deluxe Edition)

Kehlani debuted in 2019 with SweetSexySavage, a refreshingly self-assured and dynamic R&B album that evokes the spirit of TLC's CrazySexyCool with modern trap elements. The album's title reflects Kehlani's message that people are multi-dimensional. You can be sweet, vulnerable, and loving, while also having a "savage," fierce, or unapologetic edge.

The album was born out of a period of intense personal struggle, public scrutiny, anxiety, and depression. It acts as a musical journey through processing heartbreak, toxic dynamics, and public pressure into a place of happiness and autonomy. The project channels the vibe of 90s girl groups and 2000s R&B/pop singer-songwriters (Aaliyah & Natasha Bedingfield), blending nostalgic production with modern trap-infused beats and smooth melodies. Highlights include "CRZY", "Distraction", and "Gangsta".

This 2LP vinyl edition produced by Warner Records.
