So Tonight That I Might See is the 1993 sophomore album from Mazzy Star, the alt-rock duo consisting of singer Hope Sandoval and the late producer and instrumentalist David Roback. It includes the timeless anthem "Fade Into You".
A dream-pop classic with psychedelic-folk overtones and nods nods to Nico and the Velvet Underground, the albums' spare and gauzy outpouring of feeling still ripples through modern music over two decades after its original release. Although Sandoval rarely raises her voice above a sultry whisper, it's bright enough to hold your attention all night.
Exclusive VIOLET SMOKE SPLATTER vinyl edition produced by Capitol Records in 2025 for the RSD Essentials campaign.
