Canadian dream-poppers Men I Trust return with 2 new albums for 2025. First with this one, Equus Asinus, which features 14 songs, including "I Come With Mud," "All My Candles," and "Bethlehem". It's more moody and melancholic album compared to their previous work, with a focus on introspection and reflection. It has been longlisted for the 2025 Polaris Music Prize.

"Early in the writing and recording process, we realized we had a collection of songs with distinct energies yet equally meaningful to us, It became clear that we wanted to release them as two separate entities both from the same genus: Equus Asinus and Equus Caballus."
