Fudge is Michael Kiwanuka’s most free and instinctive album to date. A vibrant, deeply human record shaped by spontaneity, emotion, and creative joy. The album was inspired by the encouraging words of the late Chick Corea, urging him to embrace what he loved without worrying about what others might think. The album was recorded in Southampton and Frome, with its release left pending for almost twelve months due to Michael’s ongoing battle with ill health.
