Band of Horses - Cease to Begin

The' Sun Giant' EP is essentially what started it all when it comes to their initial run of success. It's packaged together with Fleet Foxes self-titled debut album, which in itself could be the closest this generation gets to its own 'Pet Sounds'.

Fleet Foxes returned in 2011 with 'Helplessness Blues'. It sees the band heighten and extend themselves, adding new instrumentation to their sound, more direct lyrics, and an emphasis on group vocal harmonies. It features the single "Montezuma".

Wilco's seventh album, Wilco (the album), took shape quickly in January '09 after the band traveled to Auckland, New Zealand to participate in an Oxfam International benefit project. The band began cutting tracks for the new album, producing it themselves

Ben Bridwell and Mat Brooke formed Band of Horses in 2004. Their debut 'Everything All the Time' is an album painted gorgeously in fragile highs and lows. The record features the singles "The Funeral" and "The Great Salt Lake".
